Empty the pump baskets, skimmers and poolsweep

Brush the side walls and steps

Skim the surface

Backwash the filter (Sand & DE filters only)

Test water chemistry

Add sanitizer (chlorine)

Add salt (salt pools only)

Add pH and alkalinity adjustment chemicals

Check for equipment problems
